Greetings friends! Sorry I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks, I've been sooooo busy. I had to work 14 days straight without a day off. After that, we went to Ohio to visit family and friends. I missed my friends and family so much. My niece is growing up so fast. She's as smart as a whip, too. She's only 2 and she knows all of the continents and planets....watch out Einstein, here comes Elizabeth! I feel like I'm missing out on everything. Three days of cramming is...

The other day I was at Borders looking for something new to read and I came across a book entitled "Discover Zen." Being very interested in not only Buddism, but the art of transendence and relaxation, I picked it up and haven't put it down since. This book has opened my eyes. I am starting to realize that it is not worth it to sweat the small things in life. There is so much more to living than being stuck inbetween petty problems and gossip. The book is filled with many exercises on ...

Life can be full of changes. Some changes can be for the better, others for the worse. Changes are brought on by ones self. No matter what one might think, one cannot change a person. I believe that this is the number one reason that relationships fail. So many think that they can change a person. First off, if you care for someone, why change them? Shouldn't you love someone for who they are, not for what you think they can become? I see this more often in females than males. The...

I was reading an article in the NY Times about a mother who went shopping with her fourteen year old daughter and her circle of friends. Apparently, the girls dragged the mother in Victoria's Secret to browse at some underwear. The girls began going through tables of thongs, collecting multiple pairs, deciding which ones they could coordinate with their low rise jeans. The mother was baffled. She was wondering what in the world would possess these girls to want to purchase what is the equ...

After a five year hiatus, and a little persuasion from Dharma, I've decided to pick up my guitar again. Since I couldn't sleep for anything last night (many of you were on here to witness my points whoring article that was posted here late last night, which I have deleted since it started to get outta hand), I decided to get my old Alvarez accoustic out of it's case and tune it. All I can say is OUCH!!!!! Since my callouses have disappeared, I have to build them up. My goal for the en...

The summer is quickly approaching and I need to kick my workout into high gear if I want to look hot in a bathing suit for Vegas this August. Thanks to Oprah and her new diet plan which is on her site, I'm going to kick up my workout into high gear. I'm going to increase my cardio by two minutes each week and add an extra work our session one time a day. No more ice cream or candy, either. Let's hope I can do it!

Okay guys, my smoking is starting to get out of hand again. I am smoking between 5-8 ciggies a day (which is a helluva improvement from 4 years ago, but it's not enought). I need to stop, but for some reason I cannot. Every time I do, I just pick them up again. I want to try and quit for good. Would anyone be interested in quitting as a JU team?? Who's with me??

Just out of curiosity I wanted to check out Carebear's blog. She mentioned something about a former blogger: ashlee ryder. I looked her up, not realizing what a dramatic mess would be presented in front of me. All I can say is WOW.....That girl had some serious problems. Is it true that many people here on JU are not who they say they are??? If so, I want names!!
