When I was growing up, it always seemed as though my family was on the go. Back in the day, my dad worked a normal 8-4 as a cartogropher and my mother was either on air as a Canton radio personality, or working as an editor for the Matrix hair care line. My brother and I were always involved in school sports (football for him, we were both on the track team, and I ran cross country) as well as band functions, choir rehearsals and the speech and debate team. No matter how busy our ...
What does everyone do for a living? Are you a business man/woman? stay at home mom or dad? Student? Pimp?? I am a lead music, movement, and art teacher for a mommy and me franchise...I'm currently trying to get out and get a job in the public schools for the fall. Wish me luck!!
My Grandfather goes in for open heart surgery next week. My Grandma is a nervous wreck. They have been married almost 60 years and I am convinced they are soul mates. I don't think my Grandma would be able to go on without him. Please say a prayer for them!
Well, at my house we're having parmesan crusted chicken, tomato salad, and frozen yogurt for dessert. I got the recipe off of the TV. It seems so simple. First you take a half cup of Mayo and mix it with parmesan sprinkle cheese Then you take defrosted chicken breast and cover it with the mixture. Next sprinkle bread crumbs over the chicken Then let it bake until ready. Here's what I'm doing for the salad: mix grape tomatoes with fresh mozzerella balls Add your favorite sea...
Yep, you read it here first folks. Hardin and i are going to start going to church. We both realized that it would be good to get out of the house, get more spiritual, and meet some people. I think I'm even going to join the church choir! I'll keep you all posted on how that goes.
This weekend Hardin and I decided to take a small road trip back to Ohio to visit some friends and family. I never really realized how much I missed everyone until I saw them again. When I lived there it seemed like I was always trying to leave and now I want to go back. I miss my family so much. It was so good to see them and it seems like when i lived there I really took everything for granted, especially my parents. I never really realized until now how good it was to have a sense of ...
I've been living in NY for a little over 2 months and I just realize that I do not have one single friend. It's kind of sad and pathetic. Sure, I have my husband and he's nothing short of wonderful, but I need friends to go shopping with. I need friends to go to the salon with. I need friends to go out to coffee and gossip with. Male or female, or whatever... I need a friend! When I was in Undergrad back in Ohio it seems like I had friends out the ass. For my 21st birthday party, I h...
I hereby declare that I am in a funk. I just moved to this new area. I have no friends except my husband. Because of the move I am in between jobs, so I spend my freetime on monster.com or going to interviews. So far I've been on two interviews. The one said I made it to the second round, but the other was a failure. I just want a source of income doing what my degrees say i'm qualified to do, not become some sandwich artist. Due to the fact that New England gets dumped with a shitload ...
