I will finally get to see my sweetie this Friday! It will be the first time in three months. For those of you that don't know, my fiance is in New York getting his doctorate at Stony Brook University while I'm stuck here in Ohio. We have a busy weekend planned trying to fit in visiting with friends and family. We are also meeting with the wedding photographer to get some engagement shots made. I can't believe the wedding is so close!! YAY!!

I saw on the news that President Bush was trying to get a bill passed to start building nuclear weapons. Wouldn't this make us look bad since we are trying to rid other places of weapons of mass destruction? But then again...what do I know, I'm just a dumb college student.....

Last night, due to my lack of cable and caring what was on, I decided to tune into this new reality series on Fox called The Swan. The premis behind the show is to take two "ugly ducklings" and turn them into beautiful "swans" to compete in some beauty pageant at the end of the season. Before I post what I am about to post I want to let everyone know that I am a 23 year old straight female.... What is the big deal about marriage when 50% of it ends up in divorce anyways? So Saturday night was Kent State University's giant Halloween extravaganza where a whole bunch of folks, young and young at heart come out and party at all hours. Since it was my last KSU Halloween I decided to participate. I'm starting to think I shouldn't have.... My roomate went as the dude in white from A Clockwork Orange, her friend went as a punkrawk chic, and I went as the Jennifer Bealls character from Flashdance. I must say for a last minute costume creation I looked pretty good...
