A day in the life of an Ohioan turned New Yorker
Go Johnny Go!

People bitch that Kerry "flip flops". In an ever-changing world, one has to change their thoughts on subject matter or there would be no progression. If people did not change their opinions about weighty issues, then this world would be a drastically different place. Think about women's issues and African American's rights....

Republicans make me think of Elmer Fudd walking around with his musket.....

Bush lied to the American people. Thousands have died.

Are we really better off then we were 4 years ago?

What don't you like about John Kerry, peace or prosperity?

a stereotype at its finest, just goes to show you have no idea what your talking about

Thousands have died.

add to the end of that "to save millions in the future"

Are we really better off then we were 4 years ago?

ya see, there was something we call 9/11... it killed thousands and the economy crashed... remember?? Probably wouldnt, since it was one of the shortest depressions in history (Yeah, Bush was president)

What don't you like about John Kerry, peace or prosperity?

id say his uncertainty, willing to change sides for votes, his lying about being able to get allies, and his global test theory(the list could go on and on, but i think thats enough for you to respond to). Also, I just saw an article in which he says he wants to reduce terrorrism to an "annoying level" like prostitution or drugs... makes ya feel safe, doesnt it??

Bush knew that they were planing the terrorist attacks because he and his daddy had ties over there. He should be tried for treason.

If he gets reelected I'm going to go take self defense lessons and buy one of those new guns that are now legal because I will need one to defend myself.

What don't I like about Kerry, besides his supporters? Everything Mitch21 said. I have yet to see how Kerry will improve the nation. He claims he'll gain the support of allies to help us in Iraq, yet the important nations already said they aren't going to assist us even if Kerry is elected. His plan to cut the debt in half, revive social security, strengthen the military, etc. and all without raising taxes is unrealistic. Besides, the nation isn't doing as poorly as the supporters of Kerry would want everybody to believe. In fact, when you consider all the problems with which Bush had to deal, then you start thinking Bush is a great candidate for being able to keep the nation in such healthy condition.

against who? Saddam Hussein? Oh, wait, Bush took him out of power. Maybe you dont get that the world is safer now. You can come out of your hole now.

Clinton also had the same intelligence that GW had....difference is that Bush made the hard decision to do something about it, granted Clinton didn't have a 9/11 to deal with, but maybe if he had done something after the other attacks on Americans, maybe there wouldn't have been a 9/11. Kerry won't protect America, he'll outsource our defense to the UN through some hokey global test.

Riddle me this Batman--what does saddam hussein have to do with 9/11??
on Oct 13, 2004
Saddam Hussein has nothing to do with 9/11 Saddam Hussein is a sponsor of terrorists...that's enough for me for him to go away
on Oct 13, 2004
What about Osama Bin Lauden? Because we wasted our time with Saddam, the real culprit is long gone. WAY TO GO W.
on Oct 13, 2004
Osama bin Laden has never been the only threat to the US.
As for Kerry flip-flopping, being able to form a new opinion in light of new evidence is good, but fickleness is as bad as stubbornness.

Oh, I forgot we only have the capability of attacking at one place at a time. Hey, guess what? Bush never took his eye of Bin Laden, just because he escaped doesnt mean Bush moved all the troops in the world to Iraq. Pure genius!

Well riddle me this Bat... woman-- does everything important have to do with 9/11?? The answer is no, there are other things that go on in the world that need our attention too.
on Oct 13, 2004
But shouldn't we focus on one thing at a time. Wouldn't catching the bastards who blew up the twin towers be number one on the list of threats??

Bush's priorities are askew. He was too concerned with fixing the mess his daddy made in the early 90s....and in that process Osama got away. Now we are harming Iraqi civilians.....what a great plan. NOT!

You had me at first, but this...well, I can't believe it. I've read the conspiracy pages about it. Did Bush know it was possible? Yeah, sure, so did Clinton. But I can't hang GW Bush with that rope.
