A day in the life of an Ohioan turned New Yorker
I think it's been misenterprited...

All that Teresa Heinz Kerry said and I quote, "I am not sure if Laura Bush has even had a real job." She is just stating that she's not sure or not if she's been actually out in the work force...she's not bashing her for being a lazy bitch...she was just curious or not if she ever worked. Like the article in USA Today said...she was NOT SURE.

a. This has been covered TO DEATH on about a million other threads.
b. I think you got your lazy bitches switched around.
c. If she was really curious (though I don't see how she possibly could not have known), she could have discreetly asked her people.

Yeah, and I'm "not sure" THK isn't the daughter of Satan   What a lame argument!  Nice try.

I think I deserve a trolling for my comment . . . guess it's just the mood I'm in. Sorry for being a jerk, alison.

Why should you get a trolling for something that's basically true?

Jill--that's exactly what she said....and it's just my interpritation.

Texas-It's okay...everyone gets in a mood.

I don't think THK is the greatest person that ever lived or anything, but as I stated to Jill, that's how I interpreted her quote. Personally, I think she needs a wardrobe coordinator and a hair stylist...she always looks soooo sloppy.

Any one of those is a job by itself.

Never stated that you did. Maybe I should have prefaced my remark with "Wow"?

I don't think THK meant it as a bash or an attack or anything. I think the question asked was a kind of strange question. THK appologized immediately after the event, and Laura Bush has responded by basically saying 'That's alright. I understand. I've had those "trick questions" before. I know what it's like. No offense taken.'

While on the topic, I'll quickly say, yes all of those three are jobs. Education is important and so is being a mother.

I don't think either of them are 'lazy bitches', and believe both of them are nice.

Let's lay off those two and talk about something important... like the fact that Cheney's daughter is apparently a lesbian. Just kidding. Making a little poke at the news media there...

i agree with dean...my thoughts exactly!

Whether THK meant it as a slam or not, it went over like a lead cookie . "I am not sure if Laura Bush has even had a real job." I'm curious as to how THK thought LB would take that from a woman that married a billionaire. Laura was very gracious to let it slide like she did.

THK said something stupid, she apologized almost immediately (don't we all wish that Misters Bush and Kerry would apologize every once in a while?) and LB was very gracious.

About half the time Mrs blogic and I want put a muzzle on THK, and the other half we're thrilled that she's so off the rails. Honestly, if I were getting the attention she is, I'm sure I'd find out -- out the 6 o'clock news -- that I say all kinds of crazy things.

Being miked during my wedding reception was already a learning experience. Sigh.
