A day in the life of an Ohioan turned New Yorker
So, it worked! As I said, I was able to find Katie on classmates. I dropped her a quick line and she responded. After beating the system with creative ways of exchanging e mails with out having to pay $15.00, we were able to get back in touch with eachother.

One would think that not talking to someone for over 6 years would be kind of awkward, but not for us. We basically picked up right where we left off. It was like we were still chatty little high school girls. We caught up on gossip from respective high schools and family. It sounds like she's doing great--still living down south in NC. She moved a few hours away from her parents when she started school, met a guy about a year after moving, and has been living out near the beach ever since.

I really hope we get the chance to visit eachother within the next year or so....

This goes to prove that some friendships can withstand just about anything. It is so nice to have someone like her to reminisce about being young and of course, nieve....Ahh...the good old days!

(sorry to sound like a sappy hallmark card...hehe)

Thanks yeah...it's all about the effort. It's funny because there was this group I used to run around with and I just don't keep in touch with them at all. I'm glad I was able to get a hold of her.

We see another example of how the internet truly connects people.

I'm glad that you found your old friend, it must be quite exciting to catch up!

Peace,
