A day in the life of an Ohioan turned New Yorker
.....AND NOT ONE OF THEM FIT!!!! ARRRRGGGGG. I hate being short. I hate my ass!! My body is so unproportional. I swear if I was about 6 inches taller Victoria's Secret would hire me on the spot. I'm like that one commercial of theirs: all you see is curves. While some would consider me lucky to have an ample ass (not fat----just ample), I do not. Nothing ever fits. I don't know if it's the way the clothes are being made or I'm just a freak. Does anyone else have this problem>?????

I read something somewhere about mannequins now being made with more ass because it's coming in fashion (ha, isn't that great? a body part that normal women have had for eons "coming in fashion"?).

Target may not be the best place to find great fitting jeans. To me anyways, jeans are one of those items that it's worth a bit more money to find the pair that really flatters your body.

Since you mentioned Victoria's Secret, I'm wondering, have you tried their jeans? They have some great styles, and offer a good selection of inseams (including 30"). I haven't bought any of their jeans yet, so no personal testimony, but it seems like a good option.

Lucky you with the great ass, Alison, hehe.

Hey, I have a 'juicy' butt too (ask Shovel, he's seen a pic of me in a bikini) and I'm short to boot...so I hear you, Alison.

Jeans that fit my ass are always too long and too big around the waist.

I'm just large all the way around.

here's my advice: Get a pair that fits relatively well and is worth the money and go to the tailor. They can work miracles and they're not too spendy. They can give you some more room in the seat and give you the correct length...

Tex:
hmm...you're right. They make a huge variety of jeans. Maybe I should give them a try. Their bras are great, so their jeans must be too!

Dharma:
ahh!! you are in the same boat too! I usually love shopping, but shopping for jeans is a pain in my big rear! haha

Marcie:
That is also a good idea. I can get the jeans from vicky's like tex suggested and if they are too long, then I could go to the tailor!

Mod:
You are lucky to find something that works! For some odd reason Levis don't fit me right.

Yep...I have junk in my trunk, and I'm damn proud of it....!
Actually it gets a lot of attention. I got catcalled at today as I was walking into a store.....some jackasses in a truck hollered "Yeah, baby! Nice ass!!!"...which resulted in my flipping them off.

It's ok to tell us we have nice asses, just do it in a somewhat dignified way, will ya?

moderateman:
good example of passing the buck very dignified.

Dharma:
I too, am proud of my large ass. Isn't all the attention entertaining?? I remember going out this past halloween and some guy pinched my ass, so I slugged him...hehe.
