A day in the life of an Ohioan turned New Yorker
what do you think?

As most know, Scott Peterson has been sentenced to death. I'm not sure if I agree with the sentence. On one hand, yes what he did was down right one of the most awful things I've ever heard of and he should be punished to death, but wouldn't rotting away in prision be a worse sentence? He would have had his whole life to sit there and think about the henious crimes he committed.

What do y'all think?

By the time his appeals are done, he will be older than me and will have cost the state of California more than imprisoning him for life would have.

When you say it like that, it sounds more humane to put him to death than to force him to suffer a lifetime of isolated misery. That's why I think it's appropriate to put him to death.

Well what he did is pretty miserable.

I agree with SSG Geezer - this way he'll spend a big chunk of his life thinking about it and die for it eventually, though I don't feel particularly good about it.
