Wow! It's been forever since I've posted!! Between the holidays, visiting with friends, and wedding plans, I've been too exhausted to even blog...haha.
Thanksgiving was pretty decent this year. My parents always host this holiday. I spent the whole day coloring and playing with play dough with my two year old niece, Elizabeth. She's as smart as a whip. She knows all of her numbers up to 20, basic colors, and about 75% of her abc's. She obviously takes after her magnificent Aunt Alison.
On Thanksgiving time started to catch up with me. I realized that in about three weeks I graduate, get married, and pack up to leave for NY. I started to panic about missing people, finding a job, and wondered if I was making the right decision about the whole ordeal. I know Hardin is the one for me, but I just got nervous about the whole situation! My Mom assured me that it's completely normal to freak out before all of these major events. Afterall, I'm only human, right!?
On Friday, Hardin drove up from his Mother's house in Tennessee. The reunion was awesome! We had the greatest time this weekend going around and visiting friends and just having alone time. We also took our engagement pictures. Maybe when they come back I'll post a few. We were also going crazy over seating arrangements for the reception. I hope we don't piss too many people off by who they'll be sitting next to! Oh well....they'll get over it!
When I saw him it all became so clear that I am meant to pick up and do this move. I can't wait to start fresh over there on the east coast! It will be so worth this whole wait. The best will be falling asleep next to him and waking up next to him every day....ok I'm starting to sound like a lame girly-girl so I better stop!
How was everybody else's holiday?
