I think it's DISGUSTSING how John McCain supporters are calling Obama a "terrorist," and claiming how he's in kahoots with, "terrorists."  These last minute scare mongering techniques are outrageous.  Good luck controlling the mess you have created Mr. McCain. Personally, I don't really understand how anyone can "FcCain" vote for you. Quote of the week: "John McCain has sided with George W. Bush on 90% of the issues that concern Americans.  To me that makes him a sidekick...

You Are a New School Democrat You like partying and politics - and are likely to be young and affluent. You're less religious, traditional, and uptight than most Democrats. Smoking pot, homosexuality, and gambling are all okay in your book. You prefer that the government help people take care of themselves. What political persuasion are you?

I was born in 1981, so a lot of people are probably going to disreguard my opinion anyways. Many people, (mainly Republicans, but Dems as well) consider Ronald Reagan to be the greatest president that ever lived. Sure, he accomplished the tearing down of the Berlin wall, but what else did he exactly do? In my eyes he ignored the starving children in Africa (they left this up to band aid), the farm lands, and the entire AIDS epedemic....I'm not even going to go into how he greatened the Nat...

Billions have been spent on the war. President Bush only donated a mere 1.5 million dollars to relieve the victims of the Asian Tsunami. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?!?!?!?!?!

I saw on the news that President Bush was trying to get a bill passed to start building nuclear weapons. Wouldn't this make us look bad since we are trying to rid other places of weapons of mass destruction? But then again...what do I know, I'm just a dumb college student.....

It is said that Bush won this election because he is a "good christian man". Let's take a look at President Saint George's moral record.... I don't know about anyone else, but I think it's pretty IMMORAL what is happening over in Iraq. Thousands have died over what? FUCKING OIL...... It is also said that St. George wants to redefine marriage by stressing the importance of the bond between a man and a woman and adding a constitutional amendment to do so. Now last I checked the constit...

Before I post what I am about to post I want to let everyone know that I am a 23 year old straight female.... What is the big deal about marriage when 50% of it ends up in divorce anyways? Some gay couples I know have been together longer than a lot of straight couples..... Doesn't human companionship conquer all....I mean I'm getting married and I'm very happy to start this road ahead with my man...shouldn't everyone; gay, straight, bi...whatever deserve this too??

So who did you pick? Bush or Kerry?
October 21, 2004 by alison watkins
All that Teresa Heinz Kerry said and I quote, "I am not sure if Laura Bush has even had a real job." She is just stating that she's not sure or not if she's been actually out in the work force...she's not bashing her for being a lazy bitch...she was just curious or not if she ever worked. Like the article in USA Today said...she was NOT SURE.

Why is it I only get huge responses whenever I talk about politics and 0 when I talk about life and what glorious events it has to offer?

1) First, Let's state the obvious. This big cock waving contest entitled the "war on terror" featuring the US's personal whipping boy England. No one has yet to answer (W included) why exactly we are in Iraq and not hunting the terrorists in Afghanistan. WHAT DOES IRAQ HAVE TO DO WITH ANY OF THIS?!?!?! 2) He's all for the dumbing down of society. Instead of teachers striving to teach their students to obtain long term knowledge, all teachers are now required to teach students how to...

People bitch that Kerry "flip flops". In an ever-changing world, one has to change their thoughts on subject matter or there would be no progression. If people did not change their opinions about weighty issues, then this world would be a drastically different place. Think about women's issues and African American's rights.... Republicans make me think of Elmer Fudd walking around with his musket..... Bush lied to the American people. Thousands have died. Are we really better of...

I am 23 years old and I am an American Citizen. Here in America I am blessed with many rights, which thus includes my right to vote. This should be a really liberating concept, right? Well, I think so, but I do not think that others in my age group realize the significance of voting. As everyone knows, the Democratic National Convention was held this week in MA. When I was out saying my goodbyes to a friend that is leaving to go to graduate school across the country, I asked if the bar c...
